I think, it's not really the grades that count, it's the things that remains in your nutbrain which never spoils. Why, did you feel great getting 1.0 when you know that you have never attended a class and only take tests wherein all you do is ask your cheatmates? Or, do you feel you have learned something because you've only read because your professor says it's self-explanatory, and after reading it, just reading it, close it and leave the book or your notes lying around?
I don't claim to be a very good student. In fact, I'm not, and I don't want to be one. I don't really wish to be good in school, I just want to retain what I have learned. It's really annoying when you have had that lesson and when you're asked about it some time later, you keep on asking yourself: Ano don to gani man? At least, even though I wasn't good back in school, I can proudly answer their questions thus sharing my knowledge with them.
If there's one thing I've learned from my college, it is that studying pays. Really. Because you really have to know and cramming isn't enough.
