Manny Pacquiao won against Miguel Cotto.
YEHEY! Rejoice Philippines.
I really admire Pacquiao. He made a name for the Philippines. He makes the Filipinos' world stop, be at peace, and then rejoice.
He had been topics of jokes. His mother too. His decisions were often questioned.
Political plans, TV and movie projects, singing career...
Can he be a good politician? Can he even act? Can he sing?
I happened upon the 24/7 Firepower Pacquiao vs Cotto docu. One thing that I've noticed was that Pacquiao's part of the docu was filled with Pacman's other agendas, the movie Wapakman, his appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live, etc while Cotto's was more on the boxing training. And it was mentioned that some question Pacman's other agendas because it seems like his boxing career was in some way put off for these things. When Freddie Roach was asked about his reaction to this, he said Manny was having fun doing these.
My point is, maybe a lot of people were criticizing Pacquiao and all that, but...
...duh?! Who's on Time magazine? Who lifts up the name of the Philippines? Who earns millions? Who makes the Philippines stop, make people gather and cheer as one, decrease traffic in the streets and crimes even in just a day, and make Filipinos rejoice as a whole nation?
